CZWG announce Senior Architect promotions

We are pleased to announce the promotion of (L-R) Jennie Hunter, Krista Evans, Raffaele Damiano, Patrick Massey and Joseph Cassar to Senior Architect. With over 55 years’ collective industry experience, the team will bring a diverse set of capabilities and interests to their new responsibilities within the practice.

Jennie Hunter is a project architect for the new-build element of Islington Square, a major mixed-use scheme in Angel, London currently under construction. She enjoys the varied challenges that are unique to the construction phase of the project and is encouraged to see a rising number of women involved on-site.

Krista Evans is a project architect for Oaklands, the first phase of the Old Oak Common masterplan currently under construction. She enjoys being part of a team to deliver projects that provide housing to all people through a range of tenures and affordability - enhancing the local landscape for the wider community as well as the residents.

Raffaele Damiano has worked on several large-scale and complex regeneration projects, including Phase 1 of Rathbone Market in Canning Town and and as a project architect for Oaklands, the first phase of the Old Oak Common masterplan. Raffaele is interested in exploring how the changing demands for market ownership and public and private rental sectors are transforming the way we think about and design for homes.

Patrick Massey is a project architect for Islington Square, a major mixed-use scheme in Angel, London currently under construction. Patrick is concerned with finding new ways to deliver architecturally interesting social housing. His ‘Urban Darning Project’ concept, shortlisted in the NLA’s New London Housing Ideas competition, questioned how changes to planning policy, funding and attitudes to site ownership could give rise to a culture of developing small infill sites into high quality buildings and homes.

Joseph Cassar is currently working on Free Wharf, a major new mixed-use waterfront scheme in Shoreham-by-Sea. He is actively committed to inspiring career opportunities for young people in the industry. For the past two years he has collaborated with Wieden + Kennedy advertising agency on The Kennedys, an incubator programme for young creatives.
