NLQ 50th Edition | Islington Square Building Review

Take an in-depth look at NLA award-winning mixed use scheme Islington Square in the 50th edition of New London Quarterly magazine.

The Building Review 'In Full Colour' (pp. 80-89) features first person accounts that span the 20-year project history of the former Royal Mail Sorting Office from the perspective of client Richard Pilkington, Senior MD and head of European real estate at Cain International, architect David Donachie, Director at CZWG Architects, engineer Michael Baigent, Director at MOBK and planner Greg Cooper, Director at Metropolis Planning and Design.

“The careful balancing act of retaining the heritage of the site was always at the heart of the project," said David Donachie. “An enormous amount of effort went into salvaging and restoring.”

NLA members can download the issue in full from the NLA website.
