Jamie Wilson
Architectural Assistant

MA(Hons) | MArch

Jamie has worked as a Part I and Part II Architectural Assistant across a variety of small and large scale live projects in the studio as well as design competitions, workshops and contributing to CZWG's Team Carbon group which champions sustainable design methodologies.

Jamie gained valuable site experience on Islington Square, a major mixed use development of the former London Postal Sorting Office and on a number of medium to large residential construction projects including Vallance Road & Hemming Street and Alton Green, 142 homes in Wandsworth for Redrow Homes. He has also been involved in planning applications for various projects, including the pre-planning stages of Free Wharf, a large residential-led mixed-use waterfront scheme on the site of a disused wharf east of Shoreham-by-Sea town centre. Jamie is a currently working as part of the delivery team for Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, 16 buildings (four retained and two listed) for Galliard.

Jamie is a volunteer and board member of the Roman Road Community Land Trust, a role in which he has developed a marketing strategy, carried out public engagement workshops and conducted site feasibility studies as part of the CLT’s business cases for acquiring land.

He completed his undergraduate studies in MA (Hons) Architecture with first class honours and MArch Architecture with distinction at the University of Edinburgh, where he developed a design process based on rigorous methodologies of representing and making as a way of exploring architecture. Jamie is currently studying for his PG Dip (Part III) qualification at the University of Westminster.
