Luigi has a passion for urban regeneration. He has considerable expertise in masterplanning and residential developments of all scales, including the regeneration of a large derelict canal-side area in Smethwick, Birmingham and design proposals for the 52,000m² Barnsley Market in Yorkshire. Luigi led CZWG’s revision of the strategic masterplan for a 7ha site for Berkeley Homes’ acclaimed Kidbrooke Village regeneration scheme in Greenwich, securing hybrid planning permission for 1,260 homes on the site known as the ‘Meridian Gate’ masterplan. Following the successful delivery of 375 homes, Luigi has led revised planning applications for 1,645 homes on the masterplan site and continues to work on behalf of Berkeley Homes to maintain the design and quality standards throughout the ongoing construction programme.

Luigi's principle buildings include Bankside Lofts, a seven storey building in Bankside adjacent the Tate Modern, the award-winning Alfred Court residential building on Fortune Green Road in Hampstead, Rose Joan Mews, comprising 10 courtyard houses in West Hampstead, ‘Randall Court’, a 5-storey development formed of 8 homes in Elephant & Castle, Southwark and The Stones private house in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Greatstone on Sea, short-listed for the Manser Medal, AJ House of the Year Award.

Luigi is a director in CZWG's core management team with responsibilities overseeing the commercial management of the practice. He studied architecture at the Architectural Association in London.
