CZWG’s approach throughout was no-nonsense, and very practical, and within challenging timescales were always able to present practical and thoughtful solutions, whilst maintaining the excellent relationship with LB Brent’s planning teams. The final schemes have always been quality buildings, fulfilling our aim to produce homes that residents aspire to live in.

Tom Dickson, Senior Development Manager, Hill

Following a limited competition, CZWG was appointed by the Network Homes to design a 100% keyworker affordable development at the Central Middlesex Hospital, Park Royal. The scheme marks the completion of the north east corner of the new Central Middlesex Hospital campus, located within Europe’s largest industrial park. The original brief asked for a landmark building accommodating 120 homes. CZWG’s proposals provided an extra 25 homes, utilising the full potential of the site. The project is focused around a generous communal garden for the residents.

Family maisonettes at ground level have apartments above, whilst a taller building on the corner of the site acts as a landmark for the hospital, visible from all directions. Sustainability features include brown roofs and CHP with biomass boiler. The project achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
